Treatment Center Staff
Dess Hernandez, MA, BCBA, LBA
Dess has been working with individuals with autism for 5 years. Helping individuals with autism and other disabilities became a passion of hers when her little brother was diagnosed with autism. She obtained her Masters Degree in special education with a graduate certificate in ABA from Texas A&M.
She says her catch phrase should be, “I can’t, my kids have practice,” because when she is not at work, chances are she is carpooling her kids around to football or volleyball practice. Although she stays busy, she makes sure to make time for the San Antonio Spurs and Pittsburgh Steelers.
