HOUSTON, Texas, February 10, 2020 – Behavioral Innovations, a leading provider in evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), has opened their newest center in the Texas Medical Center, a medical district and neighborhood in south-central Houston. Their centers focus on providing a fun, interactive, and naturalistic teaching environment to help every child reach their potential.

The new center will be led by Clinical Director, Mayra Corona-Moreno, M.D. Ms. Corona-Moreno brings wonderful experience to the newly opened therapy center, including over 13 years of working with children with Autism and is also a mother of a child with Autism. Of the new center, Mayra said, “I welcome all new patients and parents of children on the Autism-based spectrum to stop by our new Texas Medical Center for a visit and to ask any questions you may have. We understand the need for autism therapy services and feel as though we can potentially make a huge impact for families that are in various stages of their child’s journey.”

Patients and parents alike will be welcomed by the warm, fun, and inviting atmosphere characteristic to all Behavioral Innovations centers. The state-of-the-art facilities provide a place for children to “play” while individualized skill acquisition, social skills, and behavior reduction goals are embedded within treatment.

Behavioral Innovations was founded almost 20 years ago when Behavioral Analysts Lori Russo, Carla Edwards and Billy Edwards noticed a lack of available resources to assist children diagnosed with autism. Their first ABA-based autism therapy center was opened in Dallas, Texas in 2003. Teams at the centers include skilled and passionate personnel, such as admissions, insurance, billing, operations and a highly advanced clinical staff. The staff at the learning centers reflects the passion and dedication to improving the lives of children on the autism spectrum and their families that drove Lori, Carla and Billy to start the company nearly 20 years ago.

The Texas Medical Center is enrolling clients now. The center is located at 2223 Dorrington Street in Houston, Texas. For more information, or to connect with the Texas Medical Center, please call (855)-782-7822.
