ABA Therapy in Arlington, TX
The Arlington autism treatment center opened in 2015 to serve children with autism in Arlington, Mansfield, Midlothian, Grand Prairie, and the surrounding areas. In 2016, the center moved into a new building located off of Cooper St. and Commercial Blvd.
The center has eight spacious therapy rooms, a large indoor play room, and a huge, fenced-in outdoor area with various toys to work on gross motor and play skills! Our center also has a parent training room where parents can watch therapy from outside of the room to see what their learner is capable of when working 1:1. Our center also has two bathrooms, with a working shower and a large kitchen area, with a refrigerator, microwaves, oven and stove for our clients that may need some instruction on independent living skills.

Treatment Center Staff
Tawana McNair, MA, BCBA, LBA
Tawana has worked extensively with children and young adults with disabilities in multiple settings since 2013. While completing her undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Cortland she worked as an intern volunteer with adolescents diagnosed with emotional behavior disorders. Soon after she obtained her Masters of Arts in Applied Behavioral Analysis from Teachers College at Columbia University, with a New York State Teacher’s certification in Special Education and General Education. While in her masters program, she was a student researcher at the Fred S. Keller School, Yonkers, NY studying and developing techniques to improve verbal behavior in toddlers with developmental delays. In addition, she continued to work with children with disabilities, and provided families with the strategies necessary to develop a strong foundation between the two. Tawana worked in home therapy in Orange County, California for two years before she joined Behavioral Innovations.
Jasmine Smith, MS, BCBA, LBA
Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Jasmine is a native of Dallas, TX. She completed her undergraduate studies at Southern Methodist University in 2012 and later obtained a Master of Science in Psychology with a primary focus of Applied Behavior Analysis from Kaplan University in 2016. Jasmine has worked in the field of ABA since 2013; she began her journey in ABA working as a therapist for children between the ages of 2-12 years old and later transitioned to working with young adults prior to becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She has experience with the application of behavior analytic principles in both the home and clinic setting.

Monica Garcia is the Business Manager for our Arlington Treatment Center. She moved into the DFW area Summer 2017, along with her 3 year old daughter, Maylee. Monica attended Howard Junior College in the Fall of 2013, where she took courses in Business Management. She was also a part of the Howard Junior College Dance Troupe.
Monica enjoys the outdoors, exploring, and long walks. Monica loves and treasures every moment with her daughter.
