Alicia Branum, M.Ed., BCBA
Alicia "Lisa" Branum is our new BCBA at Behavioral Innovations Norman and Oklahoma City. Lisa graduated with honors from the University of Central Oklahoma with her master’s degree in severe/profound special education and the completion of their ABA program. She was a teacher for fifteen years in southwestern Oklahoma before moving to the behavior analysis field. Having been a contractor in the Lawton area for three years, Lisa is excited to join the Behavioral Innovations team at Norman and Oklahoma City.
Lisa and her family are new to the Norman area and enjoy attending OU football games, eating at Campus Corner, and bike riding through their neighborhood. As a mom to two grown sons, one of which has special needs, helping families navigate the adventure of autism is one of her passions. She loves Chick fil-A, Ted’s Café Escondido, Michael Jackson music, 90’s movies, and unsweet tea with just a splash of sweet tea on the top!
Amber comes to BI with really great education from the University of Kansas, where she received her master’s degree in Music Education/Music Therapy. Amber is also a Music Therapist as well as a BCBA. She has spent the past several years working in an inpatient child psychiatric unit before pursuing her BCBA certification from the University of Oklahoma. Amber is excited about the opportunity here at BI given our strong group of BCBAs as well as the training that will allow her to continue to grow her career and help her clients the best she can.
Kate Magnie, RBT
Clinical Operations Manager
Kate Magnie is the Clinical Operations Manager at the Norman center. She graduated with her bachelor's degree in sociology from Fort Hays State University in 2017. She is currently attending Arizona State University, and hopes to graduate with her master's degree in special education with an emphasis in behavior analysis in 2020. She enjoys spending time with her daughters, cooking, and bike riding.
Christina comes to BI with tremendous past management experience that she began as a Practice Manager for an endocrinologist office in California before she made the move to Oklahoma. She continued to work as a Practice Manager at her new employer where she learned a ton of valuable skills that will make her a perfect fit for the OKC team! Christina comes to BI due to the aligned values between herself and what we at Behavioral Innovations stand for. The importance of a family-focus mindset and strong ties to the community that each of our centers prides itself on made a huge impact on Christina when choosing BI as her new home. We are excited for her to join!
