Amanda Modrovsky, BCBA
Amanda will join our team with both tremendous knowledge and education as well as a passion for continued learning and development. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology and post-graduate certificate in autism and behavioral science. Shortly after that, she received her master’s in Applied Disabilities Studies and recently was accepted into the PhD program in Developmental Psychology. Amanda has experience working with individuals with complex special needs and dual diagnosis, creating comprehensive behavior plans, including one that was up to 52 pages!
Amanda also has a special relationship to the autism community as her best friend’s brother was diagnosed when he was a teenager. She saw many ups and downs with him throughout childhood while his parents did everything to aid in his development. He is currently doing wonderful and living a very productive life and is still the great kid Amanda remembers.
Quincy Edwards | Center Administratorr
Quincy recently graduated with his master’s in business administration from West Texas A&M, while also having his master certification in Long Term Healthcare. Prior to joining BI, Quincy worked as a Certified Special Education teacher in the Houston area. He has wonderful experience with children that have disorders such as autism and ADHD, going all the way back to 2013 where he was more involved in this typical setting. He was drawn to BI for his love of helping children and his passion for healthcare and impacting lives. His new role will give him the opportunity to do both, while also expanding his learning to bring even more value to the BI team!
Sarah Guasp | Clinical Operations Manager
Sarah has been RBT certified since early 2017, although her work with ASD children dates back to early 2016. She has worked as a lead teacher in a classroom setting that incorporated curriculum and individualized goals for children with and without autism. Sarah has also worked in providing therapy to children in-home including running therapy in a community environment. Sarah was brought to BI by all the wonderful things she had heard about the company, something we are extremely proud of here at BI! She hopes to continue her education both in the classroom but also learning from the new and wonderful team in Murphy!
