Treatment Center Staff
Regine Booth, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA
Regine is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and the Center Director for the McKinney Treatment Center. Upon graduating from the University of Toronto in Canada, Regine began working with children with autism as an ABA therapist. She immediately fell in love with the application of behavior analysis in therapy and in her daily life. This marked the beginning of her commitment in the clinical application of behavior analysis with young children with special needs, and led her to relocate to Texas.
Regine completed her Masters in Special Education with an emphasis in Autism Intervention from the University of North Texas in 2006. Upon completing her graduate degree, Regine joined BI, and obtained her certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Over the years, she remained steadfast in her commitment to the field of applied behavior analysis as she worked with individuals affected by autism and related developmental disorders. Aside from providing direct client care, Regine has trained behavior technicians, educators, and caregivers across clinical, community, and educational settings. She has also overseen center operations across multi-site locations within B.I.. When asked what she enjoys the most about working in the field of autism intervention as a BCBA, Regine replied, "I love the moment when I first connect with a child knowing that I am officially 'in his circle'."
During her leisure time, Regine enjoys spending time with her daughters, playing golf with her husband, and squeezing in a night out on the town attending a performing arts event.
Derquicia Sandford, RBT
Clinical Operations Manager
Derquicia has been with Behavioral Innovations since October of 2014. Starting her path in ABA has taught her many levels of understanding that she doesn't think she would have learned anywhere else. Her passion is the kids that she works with. She has been a therapist, a team lead, a program manager, and now she is excited to take the next step in her career as Clinical Operations Manager. Her ultimate goal is to become a BCBA and continue to work with these children who are her life. When not working, Derquicia is at home practicing ABA on her three cats. She also spends quite a bit of time with family and friends. Her favorite place is Disney World and goes at least once a year. Fun fact: She is left handed and gets excited when she sees other people writing with their left hand.
Rochelle joined BI in 2018 as Business Manager. Originally from California, she moved to Texas 2 years ago seeking an opportunity to grow professionally and personally. She has over 5 years of experience in leading roles and has a passion for helping families feel welcomed and secure throughout their experience with BI. Rochelle is an important piece of our puzzle as she is the trusted resource for our families and office. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, playing card games, and spending quality time with family.
“Our task, regarding creativity, is to help children climb their own mountains, as high as possible. No one can do more.”
