Ed joins the BI team with 7 years of experience working with learners with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
He was drawn to BI’s commitment to compassionate care which aligns with his values. He heavily emphasizes understanding the technical aspects of the science and focuses on forward progression and using more recent evidence-based practices. He loves it when he sees a behavior change program having a cascading beneficial effects on various aspects of a learner’s life.
He admires Greg Hanley for his focus on compassionate care and disrupting the status quo. The best piece of advice Ed has received is to “Remain analytical while still trusting your instincts.”
Ed has always believed in growth through education and has two master’s degrees – in Special Education and the second one in an unrelated field of International Security.
