My son has been attending this facility for a little over two years. I am generally hesitant to leave him anywhere because he is nonverbal, but when I drop him off here, I know he is in good hands. The entire team is consistently friendly, patient, and supportive. The staff is exceptional, and the center administrator is especially professional, understanding, and attentive to my son’s needs.
I am truly pleased with the progress my child has made. I highly recommend Behavioral Innovations not only because of the positive developmental progress, but also because I have peace of mind while I’m at work, knowing my child is being well cared for. As a parent of an autistic child, that peace of mind is invaluable.

He’s more attentive than he was and he tries new things, and he loves to go there. Overall, this place has truly been a blessing. From the ladies at the front to the therapist to our BCBA. I couldn’t have asked for a better community for my kiddo! Thank you.

Overall, the facility and staff are really great. My child is coming from a school environment and I could definitely see the difference in how they focus on the behavioral needs, often modifying there teaching plans as my child was learning. They even help the parents learn strategies to help navigate this experience. They really went above and beyond!

Frequently Asked Questions About ABA Therapy
ABA therapy is a proven, evidence-based approach that helps children with autism learn and grow. By using positive reinforcement, ABA builds important life skills, encourages independence, and reduces challenging behaviors in a supportive and structured setting. Each program is personalized to fit your child’s unique needs and goals, ensuring they receive the care and guidance that’s right for them.
If your child has been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or is showing signs of developmental delays, ABA therapy may be a valuable next step. At our center, we partner closely with you, your child’s physician, and other professionals to determine if ABA therapy is the right fit and to create a plan that supports your child’s unique needs.
The length of ABA therapy varies depending on each child’s goals and progress. Some children may need several hours of therapy each week, while others may need more intensive support. Our team works with you to create a personalized therapy schedule that fits your family’s needs, adjusting as progress is made.
Yes! Many insurance plans in North Carolina cover ABA therapy. We work with most major insurance providers and can help guide you through the verification process. Additionally, we assist with any necessary paperwork for insurance claims and approvals.
Parent involvement is key to the success of ABA therapy. We encourage you to actively participate in sessions, practice skills at home, and communicate with your child’s therapist. We also offer training and support to help you implement strategies effectively at home.
We provide regular progress reports and hold periodic meetings to review your child’s development, adjust goals, and address any questions or concerns. You will also receive updates on your child’s progress, and our team is always available to discuss any aspect of the therapy.
Yes! ABA therapy includes training in social skills, such as communication, peer interaction, and appropriate behavior in different settings. Our therapists work with your child to develop these essential skills, often using role-playing and group activities to encourage practice in a natural setting.
Our therapists are highly trained and certified in Applied Behavior Analysis. They include Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) who oversee the therapy process and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who provide direct support. All our staff members are passionate about helping children succeed and receive ongoing professional development.
