HOUSTON, Texas, August 6, 2020 — Behavioral Innovations, a premier provider in evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) has opened doors to a new autism therapy center in Pearland, TX.
The Pearland Autism Treatment Center is a 3,500 sq. ft facility and is conveniently situated near the Shadow Creek Ranch and Almeada Heights neighborhood. The center is located at 1799 Kirby Drive, Suite 110, Pearland, TX 77584 in the South-Houston area, with easy access via Sam Houston Tollway and Highway 288 (South Fwy).
Behavioral Innovations has been serving the needs of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for the past 20 years. Their centers provide 1-to-1 personalized treatment plans that include a fun, interactive, and naturalistic teaching environment to help every child reach their potential.
Shawn Capell, center director for the Pearland center, is excited about the new location and hopes to fill the need for personalized autism therapy in the Pearland area. “We want to provide a haven for children with autism as well as continuous support to their parents. Our personalized and one-therapist-per-child model ensures that the kiddos have our unwavering attention and constant opportunities to grow. Our center is brand-new, and we take safety very seriously. That’s why we have multi-point checklists to make sure we are complying with all CDC guidelines,” said Shawn.
Behavioral Innovations was founded 20 years ago when Behavior Analysts Lori Russo, Carla Edwards, and Billy Edwards noticed a lack of available resources to assist children diagnosed with autism. Their first ABA-based autism therapy center was opened in Dallas, Texas in 2003. Teams at the centers demonstrate passion and dedication to improving the lives of children on the autism spectrum and their families, and specialized admissions, insurance, billing, and operations team members assist families through the complete parent journey.
