Mikeala joined BI as a Clinical Director of the Lake Worth center when it opened in 2019.
She has over 10 years of experience working with individuals with special needs in various settings, including educational, clinical, and in-home. She received her master’s degree in special education with an emphasis on Autism and Developmental Disabilities from The University of Texas at Austin. What drove Mikeala to Behavioral Innovation is the company’s dedication to clinical quality. She is extremely patient and motivated to make an impact in the lives of the kiddos we serve. Mikeala believes in an increased awareness around early signs and symptoms of ASD so children can get diagnosed sooner and improve outcomes. On weekends, she enjoys spending time with her husband walking her dog by the lake.
