BCBAs and Regional Directors meet with clinical experts to systematically review children’s intervention plans and progress. This is in addition to team meetings and center review activities and is designed as a teaching and learning activity. Cases are reviewed in depth and the team considers case histories, video samples across settings, program data, and parent and child perspectives. In collaboration with the BCBAs, clinical experts make both child and system recommendations for improving the well-being of the individual child, as well as the system that supports their progress. Faculty from premier training programs provide the expertise and the meetings are conducted in the style of teaching hospitals in that all assessments and recommendations are explained in the context of behavioral principles and the evidence base.

BCBAs are invited to learn from thought leaders in the field of behavior analysis in a monthly meeting. Each opportunity provides 2 continuing education credits and an abundance of important information. A variety of topics are discussed, including Compassionate Care, Progressive ABA, Family Harmony, Value Based Interventions, Cultural Responsiveness etc. and are followed by small group discussions about how to translate the information into reality for the children served.

My little one is receiving her therapy at the Friendswood location. Within the first week we saw significant improvements. We are a couple months in and my kiddo is communicating so much better than when she first started. I have to say every single therapist and staff member are simply amazing. They are kind, patient, and really do care for the kiddos in their care. I’m beyond excited to have found BI.

A year ago, I shared my opinion about BI, saying how great this place is for our children. And it truly is. My child loves coming here every day, and I’m happy to have found a place like BI for him. I’ve also seen a huge change in my child. I’m grateful to the entire BI staff at Keller for the tremendous support, patience, and teaching they’ve given my child. Everyone here is very kind and respectful, and the best part is that they treat our children who come to this center with love. I highly recommend it; you won’t regret it.
