Carla Edwards: The early years were a lot of fun. We were experiencing changes in the children’s lives, but we were also facing some challenges as it relates to financial support. Over the years, we’ve been able to overcome our financial challenges by having investors who believe in our mission and our vision and come along and support us financially so that we can expand and grow our services for many different children.

Carla Edwards: There have been many chapters to behavioral innovations over the years, as well as many chapters of learning about myself that coincided with our growth. I have learned how to be intentional with my time and making sure that I’m prioritizing the things that are most important. I’ve had the opportunity over the years to meet some really cool and unique, wise folks, and I have learned a great deal by being able to collaborate with those individuals within the company, and that has certainly impacted me personally.
