Innovation Together Through Communities of Practice
One of the most unique aspects of working at our company is our strong commitment to Communities of Practice (COPs), a structure that brings learning, collaboration, and innovation to life across our organization.
A Community of Practice is a self-selected group of team members who share a common passion, mission, or professional focus. These communities exist to deepen expertise, exchange knowledge, and build practical skills through ongoing interaction. What truly holds each COP together is passion, commitment, and pride in the group’s shared expertise. As long as there is energy and interest, the community continues to grow and evolve.
Our Communities of Practice are made up of facilitators, subject-matter experts, and engaged core members, all contributing their perspectives and experience. Together, communities naturally reinforce best practices, encourage professional growth, and shape behaviors that strengthen our work with children, families, and one another.
How Communities of Practice Make an Impact
Each month, our team comes together before breaking into COP groups for focused collaboration. Within these sessions, team members:
- Discuss professional insights and articles
- Share real-world strategies and resources
- Participate in expert-led discussions
- Engage in skill-building activities
Through this work, COPs:
- Strengthen quality and consistency across centers
- Encourage innovation and problem-solving
- Create tools, resources, and best practices
- Support ongoing professional growth
What sets this apart:
Insights from these groups directly influence training, development, and organizational decisions—ensuring our teams help shape the future of our work.
