Senior Director-Clinical Services

Emily Mitchell is a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at Behavioral Innovations in South Plano, TX. With a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and extensive experience working with children on the autism spectrum, Emily is passionate about creating meaningful, individualized therapy plans that help children achieve their fullest potential.

Emily’s journey into ABA therapy began with a deep desire to make a difference in the lives of children with autism and their families. Over the years, she has worked in various settings, including clinics, schools, and homes, honing her expertise in evidence-based interventions that improve communication, social, and daily living skills. At the South Plano center, Emily leads a team of highly skilled therapists, ensuring every child receives the compassionate care and individualized attention they deserve. She is deeply committed to building strong relationships with families, providing parent training, and empowering caregivers with the tools and confidence to support their child’s progress at home.

Emily is known for her patient and empathetic approach, as well as her ability to connect with children in a way that fosters trust and growth. She is particularly passionate about helping children overcome challenges, celebrate milestones, and develop the skills they need to thrive in their daily lives. 

When she’s not at the center, Emily enjoys exploring the vibrant South Plano community, volunteering at local autism events, and spending quality time with her family and two dogs. She believes in lifelong learning and regularly participates in professional development to stay at the forefront of advancements in ABA therapy.
