Laura received her Master of Science in Psychology with a Specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from Capella University in May 2020.
She has six years’ experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Laura also has a bachelor’s in communication science and disorders and believes that having a background in speech therapy gives her the great abilities to understand the speech and language component of ASD. Sharing similar passion for working with individuals diagnosed with autism and a commitment to enhance the quality of life for clients and their families is what interested her in a position with Behavioral Innovations.
Laura is always striving to do her best and lives by the saying by Caroline Myss- “Always go with the choice that scares you the most, because that’s the one that is going to help you grow.”
She loves to spend her vacation on a beach and is especially fond of her time in St. John. On a nice weekend you can find her on a patio watching college football, and hanging out with her husband and two dogs, Piper and Marley.
