Once your dedicated client intake advocate has confirmed that ABA therapy is a covered benefit, we will work with you to gather additional documentation required by your insurance carrier.
While all insurance carriers have their own specific requirements, all will require the following two components:
- Comprehensive diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder – this is typically a several page report prepared by a licensed medical professional following a series of diagnostic tests and observation of your child. For our services to be deemed appropriate, an autism diagnosis (F84.0 Autism Spectrum Disorder) is required
- Prescription for ABA therapy – this is a recommendation from a medical professional that ABA therapy is an appropriate course of treatment for your child. This may be included in your child’s comprehensive diagnosis or may be provided as a separate document.
If your child has been previously diagnosed, your client intake advocate will gather the required documentation support for insurance authorization.
Safety is always a priority at our centers. We have strict COVID-19 prevention protocols in place to ensure our centers are a safe place for your family and our team. Find out more about our enhanced safety measures.
