Lauren initially found a passion for ABA within a special education setting when she saw firsthand what an impact behavioral interventions can have on the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities. "I've had an opportunity to see that every child has a voice, but not every child knows that their communication has value. When we're able to identify a way to empower them and let them know that their words have value, whether it's asking a friend to play or exchanging a picture card for water, we can change lives. I feel beyond lucky that that's my job; to collaborate with everyone involved in a child's life and show them they have a voice, and that their voice has meaning."
